Amaryllidaceae - amaryllis family Mono.
Pink wild garlic, Allium trifoiatum, is endemic to the Mediterranean Basin: it is not common, but where it does occur, it tends to form large colonies. Like all members of the allium genus, the bulbs are edible, but have a milder flavour than cultivated garlic. The flowers are very attractive as garden plants but do emit a garlicky odor if the leaves are crushed.
