Woolly clover, Trifolium tomentosum, is a small low growing plant with pink clover flowers which as the seeds develop produce a white fluffy coating which makes the flower heads resemble small balls of cotton wool. It is a Mediterranean species, found throughout Greece. Although it is usually found at flowering time in dry dusty environment it is tolerant of water-logging and  will grow in seasonally wet locations.
