Anthemis arvensis
Corn chamomile, scentless mayweed Ηαμομήλι
Compositae - daisy family Dicot.
Similar to Greek chamomile (Anthemis chia) but it is a smaller plant with smaller flower heads. It is one of a group of small daisy like flowers which are known as camomile, but naming can be confusing (see below). It differs form the other small chamomile on Skopelos, Matricharia chamomila, as the leaves are less finely divided and flower heads flatter and it does not have the characteristic chamomile aroma. It grows in fields and on the roadside amongst the grass; it is less common than Greek chamomile (Anthemis chia) on the island.
