One of several dandelion-like plants found on Skopelos, Leontodon tuberosa grows in large colonies in olive groves, it flowers in springtime and again in autumn. The young leaves, known in Greek as glikoradika, a kind of sweet dandelion greens. The roots can be eaten as well as the leaves.
