Bellis perennis

Perennial  daisy                                                                          Πολυετή μαργαρίτα

Asteracea - daisy family                                                                                         Dicot.

There is an abundance of daisy-like flowers, with yellow centres surrounded by simple white ray florets, blooming on Skopelos in spring, most of them are chamomile; but growing in shady, moist corners is the perfectly ordinary, simple daisy Bellis perennis.

Although associated with more temperate climes, Bellis perennis occurs throughout Greece; it is easily differentiated from the similar Bellis sylvestris, which only flowers in the autumn.
