The white flowered rock rose, Cistus monspeliensis, is less common Skopelos than Cistus salvifolia; although the flowers, with their white petals and numerous yellow stamens are very similar, it is distinguished by the narrow leaves; it tends to flower a little later, with some blooms remaining until June.
