Fabaceae - pea family Dicot.
As its name suggests, slender bird’s-foot trefoil is spindly compared to other members of the Lotus genus, it is found in the forest in open glades or along the edge of forest tracks. It has typical yellow pea flowers which are arranged singly or in pairs. The pods are long and narrow.
